Project: S-TRACER “SUSTAINABILITY TRACER”
Corset & CO is a beneficiary of the project entitled “S-TRACER: SUSTAINABILITY TRACER”, implemented under the call “SUSTAINABLE AND DIGITAL PRODUCT INNOVATION” PR MARCHE ERDF 2021-2027 – AXIS 1 – SO 1.1 – ACTION 1.1.2 – Measure 1.1.2.1 – Support for product or service innovation and diversification projects within the framework of the Regional Smart Specialisation Strategy 2021-2027.
S-TRACER is an innovative project promoted by Corset, aimed at developing an advanced digital system for the collection, storage, and traceability of environmental data related to composite material products. The goal is to enable the Twin Transition – digital and ecological – in the nautical sector, through the creation of a true digital passport for sustainability.
The system will allow tracking of key information on:
- Materials and production processes, to facilitate recovery and recycling at the end of component life, as well as the assessment of environmental impact in terms of Carbon Footprint (CFP);
- Accurate calculation of CO₂ emissions generated during the production of each component manufactured by Corset.
Main objectives:
- Digital environmental traceability: building a platform that follows each product throughout its entire lifecycle, providing useful data for reducing environmental impacts.
- Twin Transition: integrating digital solutions to improve efficiency and sustainability in the recreational boating sector.
- Transparency and accountability: providing customers reliable information on the materials used and the environmental footprint of products, promoting a more responsible supply chain.
- Circular sustainability: supporting recycling and reuse strategies for end-of-life components and encourage concrete actions to reduce CO₂ emissions.
The project involves a total investment of €199,341, co-financed by public funds amounting to €99,271.
